Ashram code of conduct

The ashram seeks to provide an environment conducive to serene contemplation and with that intention a strict code of conduct is expected from anyone on the ashram premises.

No alcohol

No drugs

No sex

No smoking or tobacco

No damage to ashram property

No loud music or sounds

No light pollution

No non-veg food

No plucking of fruits or flowers without prior permission

No disturbance to other occupants of ashram – human, plant or animal

Minimal plastics and other non-biodegradable waste. All non-biodegradable waste to be carried out of ashram by party bringing in the waste generating products/processes.

Culturally sensitive dressing and behavior.

No public display of romance.

Use minimum of precious resources on campus like water.
